Happy Friday, everyone! In honor of my favorite day of the week, here’s a fun and super easy nail art project to try this weekend! All you’ll need are two different colors of nail polish and some Scotch tape. I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Go For Gold and Kiss Nail Art Paint series in White, but any two colors will work! You can find the ones I used here and here. I love the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes because they’re crazy pigmented, and they really do dry very quickly! They’re definitely worth testing out.
Step 1: Paint your nails with a base coat. I chose gold for my base coat, and I did two layers of it on each nail. Allow your chosen base coat to completely dry before moving on to the next step!
Step 2: Once your base coat has dried, take two pieces of the Scotch tape. (Masking or painter’s tape works just as well!) Use it to create a triangle shape starting at the base of your nail and tapering toward the edge. Make sure to stick the tape down firmly!
Step 3: Fill the triangle in with your other color that you’ve chosen. I had to put a couple coats on, but that may have just because I was using white 🙂
Step 4: Repeat on the other hand! And that’s it! Super simple, and super cute! You may want to finish it off with a top coat to make it last longer, but I didn’t bother haha.
The finished product! What do you think? Any simple nail art you like to do? Let me know in the comments! Happy Friday!

I love nail art! I’ve tried this look out before and absolutely loved it. The triangle adds a really nice finish!

The 120 Go For Gold shade is really gorgeous. I have a glittered gold version that I haven’t used yet, but this makes me want to! I like the idea of the nail art, although the colour alone is pretty damn gorgeous 🙂
