Happy Friday! Today I want to share with you my new favorite app, Sworkit! I’m completely obsessed with this one. I saw a mention of it on another blog a while ago, and I thought it sounded like a good idea, so I downloaded it to try it out. (Sorry to whoever’s blog it was that mentioned it, I wish I remembered so I could link you!) Anyway, this app is my new workout fixation! I downloaded the free ‘lite’ version, but it has everything I could ask for in a workout app. I’m sure if you were to purchase the full version though, you’d find many more great features!
You can choose from 4 categories for your workout- Strength, Cardio, Yoga, and Stretching. Or, you can choose to press the Fit In 5 Minutes button, which will give you a sampling of different exercises for a 5 minute full workout. Within each category, you can choose to work different parts of your body, like your core, upper body, etc. Once you decide on a workout, you can set how long you’d like to do it for. I love to be able to fit in 15 minutes of yoga before bed!
It shows you how do do each new move and tells you how long to do it for. It even accounts for 30 second breaks! I love this app so much, I don’t think I have any criticisms of it. It’s amazing for getting those quick floor workouts in! After I’ve been sitting down for a while at the computer, I like to get up and use it for 10 minutes of stretching.
