Hey guys, happy Friday! Here’s to the weekend! It’s been a crazy busy couple of weeks now that I’m back at school, and it’s only going to get worse I think! I’m starting nursing clinicals, have a full course load, have a work study job, am a member of an insane ELEVEN school clubs, and am somehow still running this blog and making time for friends. I’m stressed, but I don’t really mind; I think I thrive on being busy. Not to say I don’t love vacation time, but keeping to a schedule really makes me feel productive somehow. But let’s talk about this outfit!
Today’s outfit of the day features some of my favorite fall staples: dresses, fringe, booties, and knee-high socks! I picked up this open-back babydoll dress from Forever21 the other week and I love it so much! It’s such an easy piece to throw on on a busy morning. I added all-black accessories like this scarf, these knee socks, and booties in order to not overwhelm the outfit, and topped it off with my favorite statement necklace and a swipe of bold lipstick.
I feel very 70’s retro-chic in this outfit, I think mostly due to the fringe, the suede booties and the layers. Those things are perfect for fall too though, and I’ve never been one to hold back from a retro look!
Dress: Forever21, Scarf: Thrifted, Knee-Highs: Payless, Booties: Old, Necklace: Forever21 (similar), Lipstick: Milani in Cabaret Blend
I’ve also discovered I really need a new camera; my little digital one is just not cutting it anymore. I’ve decided I have to save up and get myself something really nice for my travel, hiking, and blog photos. The problem is, I don’t know what to get! What type of camera do you guys use? Any recommendations?
Do you thrive on schedules too or do you do better with a more laid-back pace? What are your favorite fall staples? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for stopping by!
