Is anyone else out there ready to celebrate Thanksgiving? I know I am! I hate all the guilt that comes with eating everything in sight though, so I try to eat healthy and work out more a few days before it so that my shame and guilt over the massive quantities of pie I consume are somewhat lessened. So when the creator of Obstacle Workout reached out to me, I thought it was perfect to test out! This app has some really interesting features.
Now, I wouldn’t exactly say I’m a fitness buff. I try to work out when I can, but too often it gets pushed to the wayside. That’s why I like apps like this so much! It makes it easy to get a quick floor workout in.
This app is really user-friendly! You can create the type of workout you want, and then it takes you through a series of exercises complete with both audio and video instructions!! It’s really useful to have the videos, it makes it so simple to figure out how to do the exercises yourself, I used this in place of my regular floor workout, and it really gave me a tough workout! It’s also nice that it comes with a warm-up and cool-down exercise built in.
To be honest, I was really impressed with this app! Only downside is, it’s only available for iPhones and iPads, so sorry all you Android users It also has an alignment that makes you hold your phone sideways, which I personally find somewhat annoying. It costs just $0.99 in the app store, and there are in-app purchases available.
Overall, I really like this app! I’ll be keeping it on my phone alongside Sworkit for when I need a quick floor workout with really simple instructions (because I’m not the best at following directions, haha)! The great instructional videos are really the biggest plus here, they’re so helpful. I give it 4.5/5 stars! If you like, you can read more about it on their website.
Do you use any kind of apps to work out? What’s your favorite way to exercise? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
