App Review: Room For More

Hey guys! I’m super excited about this app review, because this app has solved one of my biggest phone problems! I love the convenience of a smart phone and being able to whip it out and take a picture of anything at a moment’s notice! But the issue that I run into, and that I’m sure a lot of you have too, is a storage one. My phone’s Photos app is overflowing with selfies and pictures of my cats…that’s where Room For More comes in!

ROOM FOR MORE- REVIEWED

This app has seriously been a lifesaver for me! The creator reached out to me to review this app, and my first thought? “Huh. That sounds interesting but it’s probably annoying to use and not very practical…”

I was wrong! This app is the bomb. It stores your photos in your own private cloud, and no on but you can access them. I have so much more space on my phone now!! I know as avid bloggers, a lot of you guys probably have to same issues with phone storage as me, especially in this digital age. So here’s a solution! Here’s what Room For More’s creators have to say about it.

Storage: Never delete a beloved photo or video again. All content is securely stored in your own private cloud, freeing up tons of space on your phone.

Access: Photos and videos can be viewed anytime from any connected phone or tablet, or from any computer via the Room for More website.

Control: You decide who can see your photos and videos, with options to share publicly on Facebook and Twitter or privately with custom Web links.

Retrieval: Back up photos and videos on a computer or external hard drive at the push of a button. Room for More will send you an email with all your content in a .ZIP file.

Privacy: Room for More never sells users’ personal data. It will never snoop on photos, videos or other data to sell ads — or for any other reason.

Quality: All content is stored in original quality, with no limits on file size or video length.

I’m super happy that I got a chance to use this, it’s perfect for me! It’s available for iOS and Android, and if you’d like to test it out, click here to get 6 GB of storage free, courtesy of the kind creators 🙂 I was super happy to be wrong about this app. I think it would be great for anyone who takes a lot of travel photos, or just takes lots of selfies like me haha!

I’d love to hear what you guys think about this! Do any of you use Room For More, or something similar to store your photos? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

Obstacle Workout App Review

Is anyone else out there ready to celebrate Thanksgiving? I know I am! I hate all the guilt that comes with eating everything in sight though, so I try to eat healthy and work out more a few days before it so that my shame and guilt over the massive quantities of pie I consume are somewhat lessened. So when the creator of Obstacle Workout reached out to me, I thought it was perfect to test out! This app has some really interesting features.

MEXICO

Now, I wouldn’t exactly say I’m a fitness buff. I try to work out when I can, but too often it gets pushed to the wayside. That’s why I like apps like this so much! It makes it easy to get a quick floor workout in.

THE GOOD:

This app is really user-friendly! You can create the type of workout you want, and then it takes you through a series of exercises complete with both audio and video instructions!! It’s really useful to have the videos, it makes it so simple to figure out how to do the exercises yourself, I used this in place of my regular floor workout, and it really gave me a tough workout! It’s also nice that it comes with a warm-up and cool-down exercise built in.

THE NOT-SO-GOOD:

To be honest, I was really impressed with this app! Only downside is, it’s only available for iPhones and iPads, so sorry all you Android users :/ It also has an alignment that makes you hold your phone sideways, which I personally find somewhat annoying. It costs just $0.99 in the app store, and there are in-app purchases available.

Overall, I really like this app! I’ll be keeping it on my phone alongside Sworkit for when I need a quick floor workout with really simple instructions (because I’m not the best at following directions, haha)! The great instructional videos are really the biggest plus here, they’re so helpful. I give it 4.5/5 stars! If you like, you can read more about it on their website.

Do you use any kind of apps to work out? What’s your favorite way to exercise? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

Sworkit Review

sworkit

Happy Friday! Today I want to share with you my new favorite app, Sworkit! I’m completely obsessed with this one. I saw a mention of it on another blog a while ago, and I thought it sounded like a good idea, so I downloaded it to try it out. (Sorry to whoever’s blog it was that mentioned it, I wish I remembered so I could link you!) Anyway, this app is my new workout fixation! I downloaded the free ‘lite’ version, but it has everything I could ask for in a workout app. I’m sure if you were to purchase the full version though, you’d find many more great features!

You can choose from 4 categories for your workout- Strength, Cardio, Yoga, and Stretching. Or, you can choose to press the Fit In 5 Minutes button, which will give you a sampling of different exercises for a 5 minute full workout. Within each category, you can choose to work different parts of your body, like your core, upper body, etc. Once you decide on a workout, you can set how long you’d like to do it for. I love to be able to fit in 15 minutes of yoga before bed!

It shows you how do do each new move and tells you how long to do it for. It even accounts for 30 second breaks! I love this app so much, I don’t think I have any criticisms of it. It’s amazing for getting those quick floor workouts in! After I’ve been sitting down for a while at the computer, I like to get up and use it for 10 minutes of stretching.

What do you think? Do you use Sworkit? What’s your favorite workout app? Let me know in the comments! Have a lovely weekend 🙂

App Review: Pinxter!

pinxter

Do you like to share your outfit ideas? If you’re a fashion blogger, I’m guessing you do! Even if you’re not a blogger and just like to read about fashion, this app is a great one to keep on top of current trends and see what other people are liking! Be warned though-it’s crazy addictive!

Ever heard of Pinxter? It’s like Tinder for your clothes! This app allows you to post a picture of an outfit, piece of clothing manicure, hairstyle, or really anything fashion related, and then other users can vote on whether they like it or not! According to their website, “Pinxter provides a new way to rate today’s trends in real-time.” You can upload your own photos for people to rate, and then you can go into the Rate feed and vote on other Pinxter’s photos! It’s super easy-you just swipe left for no and right for yes, like Tinder. If your photo gets a high enough percentage of swipes right, you’ll even end up on the leaderboards for the day! You can upload your pictures as many times as you want too, and the best part? It’s completely free!

I highly recommend checking this app out! If you’re looking for a way to share your #ootd ideas for the words, or want someone’s opinion before you wear it out in public, go ahead and post it on Pinxter! You can even follow other users and see whenever they put up a new post! If you’d like to check me out on Pinxter, you can do so by searching me on the app @kikianne!

Pinxter has so many other great features. If you love fashion you should give this a try! Let me know how it goes!

Have you tried Pinxter before? What did you think? Do you think you’ll be trying it out? Let me know in the comments! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

App Review: Vinted!

Do you like online shopping? Do you like thrift stores too? Then get ready-you’ve found your new obsession!

vinted

I just recently got into using the app Vinted! If you haven’t heard of it before, it’s basically a wonderland of thrifting, but through your phone! This app allows you to take pictures of your old, unwanted clothes and set a price on them. You can then post them to the app for other users to purchase! It’s easy to search for new additions to your closet by using hashtags and by following other users. I am in love with this app!! I’ve got lots of clothes that I just don’t need anymore, and this is a great way to get rid of them and maybe make a little money too haha. You can also swap your clothes with other users if you want to, no money necessary. The app is completely free to download and use, and you can get it on both iPhones and Andriods too. I know i sound like a broken record, but I’m so obsessed with it haha. It makes my boring lectures go by that much faster!

You should definitely download it if you haven’t already and give it a try! If you’d like to, you can check out my profile here. I give Vinted 5 stars!

Do you or have you used Vinted before? What do you think of it? Do you like online thrifting? Let me know what you think!
