Add A Bit Of Whimsy (Giveaway with CaseApp)

My friends are always telling me that my decorating style is like a scrapbook. I have stickers all over my water bottles, my walls are covered in a mixture of posters and tapestries, and I wear two or three necklaces at once. I love to add some touches of whimsy to my life. So a few weeks ago, when a website called CaseApp reached out to me about a collaboration, I was intrigued. They let you design your own custom phone cases, as well as laptop cases and decals! I loved the idea of adding some whimsical flair into my life via my electronics.

I love the products I received, but the best part is that I got to design them myself. I’m super excited to be giving away a $40 USD value online code to one lucky winner! Scroll down to see more, and to enter the giveaway!

First up, this MacBook decal! I made a mistake when designing this: I accidentally designed this for an 11-inch Macbook Air, when the computer that I actually have is a 13-inch MacBook Air. Oops! No big deal though, I actually don’t mind that it’s a little too small, I think the border looks cool. But if you’re getting this, make sure you double-check how big your computer is! The decal is made of a really nice heavy-duty vinyl, and definitely protects from scratches and other superficial damage. I used a stock photo and added a quote, but you can use literally any picture to design your own decal or case!

I also designed this iPhone case! I happen to have an iPhone 6, but they can make cases for quite a few different types of phones, including Androids and old iPhone models. Similarly, the computer aren’t limited to only MacBooks either! I got the solid case, and while it isn’t very heavy duty, I would recommend it if you’re not as clumsy with your phone and like to change up its look. Again, you can use any picture, and even add their little doodles like I did! I picked this stock photo of Big Ben and then added this cute little rain cloud raining diamonds.

Prairie Chic (with eShakti)

As you guys may have noticed, I hardly ever wear pants. Most of my wardrobe consists of dresses and skirts, so when eShakti reached out to me to collaborate and asked me to pick a piece out to review, of course it was going to be a dress. I picked out this floral navy number, and I’m in love with it!

I chose this dress because of the pretty print and the sheer sleeves, but online it looked shorter than it is. When it came I was surprised, but I actually think I like the longer length now that I’m used to it. My housemate said it looked “prairie chic”, like I’m from the Old West haha. eShakti gives you the option to customize your order in a lot of ways, including length, neckline, and even sleeve type, but I liked the dress as it was! It has a drawstring neck featuring a cutout, and it came with pockets, which is always a plus 🙂eshakti6eshakti7eshakti4eshakti9eshakti3eshakti10eshakti5

I added my tan booties and a silver cuff to add to the prairie/boho vibe I was feeling in this dress. This is definitely a dress I’m going to be wearing a lot this winter, the longer length and sleeves make it warm and comfy.

Overall I was very impressed with eShakti! I’m often wary of buying dresses online, but the size I ordered fit perfectly, and if you’re worried about fit, you can put in your measurements and customize the fit to your body! Like I mentioned before, you can also change the sleeves, neckline, length, and other aspects of the dress so you’re getting something uniquely yours! You can check out eShakti here, or on their Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram.

What do you think? Have you tried eShakti? How do you feel about buying clothes online? If you’d like to see more shots from this shoot, follow along on Instagram-I’m always looking for new bloggers to follow! Let me know what you think in the comments! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

App Review: Vinted!

Do you like online shopping? Do you like thrift stores too? Then get ready-you’ve found your new obsession!

I just recently got into using the app Vinted! If you haven’t heard of it before, it’s basically a wonderland of thrifting, but through your phone! This app allows you to take pictures of your old, unwanted clothes and set a price on them. You can then post them to the app for other users to purchase! It’s easy to search for new additions to your closet by using hashtags and by following other users. I am in love with this app!! I’ve got lots of clothes that I just don’t need anymore, and this is a great way to get rid of them and maybe make a little money too haha. You can also swap your clothes with other users if you want to, no money necessary. The app is completely free to download and use, and you can get it on both iPhones and Andriods too. I know i sound like a broken record, but I’m so obsessed with it haha. It makes my boring lectures go by that much faster!

You should definitely download it if you haven’t already and give it a try! If you’d like to, you can check out my profile here. I give Vinted 5 stars!

Do you or have you used Vinted before? What do you think of it? Do you like online thrifting? Let me know what you think!
